Vibro lagi.....

ABSTRACT

The efforts of conventional EOR methods to lift up oil from reservoir still remain about 50% OOIP. This is a challenge to find another method which can increase oil RF (recovery factor). For the last few years, many researches try to explain the mechanism of vibration stimulation in saturated porous media. The capable of vibroseismic method to diminish capillary forces, IFT (interfacial tension) between fluid and rock, increase porosity and permeability, and increase oil mobility are mechanisms that occur because of stimulation vibration.
Previous result showed the increase of RF, porosity, permeability, and decreasing of Sor using S-wave type (circular mode; TM-ITB Vibroseismic Apparatus). Recently, the equipment has developed not only circular mode (S-wave type) as a previous result but also axial mode (P-wave type). This experiment used synthetic core with low to fair permeability on 15 Hz frequency. The RF increment reached 4.2 %, Sor decrease 4.4% using P-wave type. Low permeability needs higher energy or amplitude than high permeability.
